A lot of good info on this particular discussion.  I just got my results to my MRI arthrogram and there are no significant findings except for some bursitis, a incidental cyst and some small amount of fraying of the supraspinatus attachment.  So in other words, I am in frozen shoulder somewhere or another.  I move my arm in particular ways and sudden movements are excruciating.   I can't sleep without meds.  I cannot lie, sit or move without being particularly careful with my arm because I don't know what will trigger the pain.  Someone mentioned positions in the bed. So familiar.  Not flat, not to one side or the other.  More or less resting my hand on my hip, lying on my side.  And that isn't all that comfortable either.  Yesterday I was so careful, then just bumped into a chair and almost went to my knees.  Fortunately this was triggered by a work related injury so my job is safe.  They gotta follow the letter of the workers comp.  I do as well.  So if they say surgery, I have to go for that, but if they say physical therapy, there I go.  I am so grateful for this forum, because I can relate to so much here.  I also am learning so much as well.  I hope the best for everyone and I also hope to find helpful information anywhere I can find it.
