I've been having the same issues I am a 22 year old male who has been motion sick and dizzy (feeling that eveythings moving) its been 3 months. no matter how many blood tests and MRI and Ct abdomen scans I had they can't find anything. I eventually went to a shaman because I was so despreate and she said it was an inner ear virus. She has been right on all my other illnesses and maybe she is wright about that. She's making me put teatree oil in my ears and told me to avoid dairy and sugar for a while.

I just found this post and I'm hoping that you feel better as well as still have it available, I'm dealing with this too.... Doc said is Lab and nothing that he has given me works. The only thing I've really found that works is Ativan and I try not to take it unless I absolutely have to. I got let go from work and I have a baby on the way.. I've had this sickness since February. I have almost constant dizziness and anxiety. It's not like spinning dizziness though, it's more like the inside of my head is moving back and forth and my vision is off. I don't know how long I can put up with this.. My anxiety has been getting so much worse. Are there any tips? I go see an ENT soon thankfully. It took me going from doctor to doctor to finally get a referral otherwise I would have to wait until the end of this month! Please help sad

I was diagnosed with this in late June. I never get headaches...felt the twinge on one coming. 3 days later I was in the throws of the initial slam -and it's never been that bad again (I was having no material extra stress, and am not an anxious person). After a hospital visit, was diagnosed with Lab. Seemed good ... got a little better, but the past 8 weeks have been backwards and forwards ,,, two steps fwd, 1.8 steps back.

The only thing that really works for me is antihistamines.  I have had MRI with dye scan, CAT scan, Ultrasound on carotid arteries, every kind of blood test you can imagine, met with my GP, ENT, and allergy doc ... all say it points to Lab.  Have scheduled neuro and rheumatologist.  If I hadn't had all the tests, I'd be much more anxious.

The thing that stands out for me is I have this yoyo four days good, four days bad thing going on.  Again, slightly improving, but the improvement is barely noticable such that it's almost not worth mentioning.

The recurring symptoms during bad spots are (i) dizzyiness, though not to the point of falling down, and particularly when I turn my head (ii) swelling in side of neck, (iii) tightness in upper shoulders/lower neck which seems always present, and (iv) some pressure in checks (no sinus problems, from MRI).  That and the "awareness" that something is just wrong ... like I'm swimming in jello.  Just that weird feeling, particularly when I move my head.

      Been 8 weeks now.

Again, always been healthy.  Good shape.  47 year old man.  Live in the States.  Just wake up one day and ... taa daa.

Well I am a totally healthy 47yr male  and a month and a half ago while getting ready for night out I got the worst vertigo I could imagine, could not stand, fell like 5 times, started throwing up, finally staggered to my phone cause I was alone at the time and called the ambulance got rushed to the hospital where there ran all kind of tests and over the next few days told me they believe I have a viral vertigo or Labyrinthitis as I am hearing, I was on steriods for 3 weeks and slowly got better, but I am still a bit dizzy most of the days and always tired, I am back to work after a week in a half but the dizzy feeling is always there, I pretty much live life like I used to except can't drink alcohol like I used to lol.... after 3 drinks it feels I am done, besides that I try to do everything dizzy or not
