On and off uti infection (suspected) and constipation

so i frequentlt suffer from UTIs and my first recorded one was when i was ten. last year the doctor finally referred me to the urologist after pushing them due to getting them so much. had kidney ultrasound, dye in the kidneys and they made me monitor my water intake/outtake. only thing that came back was that there was scarring on my kidneys so they discharged me.
frequenlt utis and copious amounts of antibiotics later, ive had a uti that just wont budge this time. ive had two lots of nutrifurintoin, trimethoprim and another antibiotics (cant remember what it was called).
anyways in the midst of this ive realised over the last few months that i do struggle to go for a number 2 and get really bloated. mentiones this as well and they have prescribed laxatives and said that i had very passively that i had an impacted bowel.
ive had two visits to a and e because of the pain and its five days in to trimethoprim and im still getting constant burning sensations when i go to the loo and after. stomach is still bloated regardless of taking a s**t ton (parden to pun) of laxatives which were prescribed.
doctors keep shrugging me off, saying its one of those things and cant be helped etc, keep persisting with antibiotics and drink plenty. the usual.
waiting times to get re referred to urology are up to 32 weeks now and have just managed to get a referral again from doctor.
if i go back to another out of hours can they run any extra tests?! all ive had to do is one urine sample, and theyve felt my stomach and that is literally it. surely there is something they can do?!?
thanks for any advice in advance!

After a lengthy problem with my waterworks I thought it was sensible to write to all concerned because when the 'subject' is written about it is the only way that reference can be guaranteed to be believed. The body is of course one of the most complex living things of all time.
If resolution to your problems is not forthcoming then down in writing it should go........
I have reams of letters that would stand up anywhere if they were 'needed'.
In the UK there is a rule that seems to have escaped certain individuals notice and that is the rule of Candor........ So if the complex issues are in 'black and white' these issues can be referred to. One would hope that this should not be necessary but I'm afraid it is absolutely necessary if not vital. In my copies of many letters anyone can confirm when reading them that all those who should have read my previous medical history did not read the most crucial parts of that history. This may seem a stupid thing to have happened but it did happen. There is a lesson to be
learned in this instance.

Have the cultured urine tests for you? Many standard dip stick tests are not accurate in catching all infections. In fact ive read countless stories of people being dismissed with "no infection" only to find out finally months, sometimes years and much pain later that they had infection the entire time.
Im currently dealing with the same issue. Ive had 4 utis before and always got rid of them easy peasy. This one has been an absolute terror. 3 months of burning, constant freaking burning. 3 antibiotics have done nothing and now my urine tests are coming back normal but they havent cultured them. Its beyond frustrating that so many doctors act like this is no big deal!
