On sertraline but feeling suicidal

Hi,
I'm 18 years old and I've only just gone on 50mg of sertraline and the side effects are killing me. I have already tried overdosing myself where I have only had 6 of 50mg tablets and it made me feel better, is this wrong? I do shake everyday, and feel very dizzy, can't really walk due to weakness and feel very nausea.. I'm not sure what to do as I know it inly takes up to 3 weeks to work. Also I can't sleep and I have no appetite whatsoever! Hopefully someone can help me; thank you

firstly you will need professional help through this very dark hole your in , PLEASE seek help soon.
The amount you have taken will confuse the brain function and that is what is making you so ill I experienced this by stop and it is the worst feeling.
go back to your GP and tell him how you are feeling and he could up the dose or change it.
You are a young women with a long life a head of you and hopfuly you will change and will one day be thankful you got the help you need .

Make an urgent appointment with your doctor - don't be fobbed off with one in a weeks time.
Ask a trusted friend or family member to take you and stay with you until you feel better.
Keep telling yourself that "this too shall pass".
Hope you find the help you need.

PLEASE go back and see your doctor if you are feeling like this...overdosing on the Sertraline will only make you feel worse, and you should go and talk to your doctor about things. It does take time for the meds to work, but in the meantime PLEASE go and get some help...you are only 18 and have so much to look forward to. If you are not happy with what your doctor says, then insist that you have someone else to talk to who could help you. Taking so many tablets is really dangerous and could damage you for a long time so please think and go and see your doctor ASAP. I hope this helps and I wish you the very best of luck in the meantime.

I tried making an emergency appointment but my GP is not in as I don't feel comfortable with talking to anyone else. I have a boyfriend to support me but I don't think anyone understands with how I feel. I'm sure the overdose has worn out but everytime I take a tablet I keep shaking is this normal? I have been on sertraline for 7 day now!
Thank you
