Once LS is under control, does the Labia return?

I've just been diagnosed and I am on steroidal cream which has been working for 3 weeks but I think I am still getting shrinkage and my neck of the womb keeps changing shape. I don't know if I am getting fusion but I've ordered dilators to keep that at bay. I am going through a flare up for past two days even while using steroidal cream so I've reduced that to once a day and I am using hydrogen peroxide/saline solution spray along with lathering on castor oil after each bowel movement and pee.

My question is, does your vagina return to some sort of normality once LS is under control. If you get it on time, can you prevent permanent disfiguration. I can cope with the symptoms, its the change in vagina and a fear of it completely closing in. I am only 50 and a have a loving husband.
