I would like to ask any one if they have ever heard of One A Day Women's Multivitamin for Menopause.

I tried to take it over the weekend and i became really tired and sick to my stomach with diarrhea. It did not take away my hot flashes i was feeling hot not myself and crying

Then i tried one last night i woke up with my nose running and my left eye tearing like crazy and this morning i had a very bad headache

I am not taking it because i think i maybe allergic to something in the vitamin.

Has anybody ever had that reaction to this vitamin please let me know

Isoflavones which is soy is in those multivitamins. Those symptoms you had were exactly that of people who are allergic to soy.

Hi Elizabeth. During this phase you need to be mindful of what you put in your body.

It sounds to me like this One a Day is made up of synthetic junk such that your body is reacting to it with specific symptoms. I take a vegetarian multi-vitamin which I also recommend to many women. Because it is vegetarian it will help bring you out of being down within one hour of taking it. However, it is not cheap but well worth taking if you value what you put in your body. Let me know if you want the name of it so I can pm you. If I try to post it here they'll block it. Let me know and return those pills.
