one mm fifth metatarsal break non union

ok starting fifth month broke in June, in boot cast that you take off, for one month exray no difference two mths no differenc three and four , bone stimulator put on given a cane , wheelchair access pass, five weeks ago sent to physical therapy killed my foot, doctor denied sending me there, said he would never do that on a non union break , ok went into pt and they gave me the paper stating he sent me, trying to change doctors in a walking hard sole shoe, Do I need surgery or what , my foot never really hurt , I can put a sneaker on now after a week and half out of physical surgery again the pain is better and i just walk on heal mostly can walk in bare feet on carpet with not much pain, WHAT DO I DO , nothing is clear don't know anyone know , Ithank you I'am female osteopenia, all through foot he says , sclerosis formed around the one mm now plus he says arthritis there hmmmmm help anyone

    In your words "my foot never really hurt".

    I suggest that you start to  wear a normal shoe, and walk away from all the incestuous debating and other anguish.

      I put my sneakers heavy good ones on to vacuum today, because its my left foot with break but knee and hip hurts from lopsided walking and doing good so far i sit down get up and do a little, dr told me to do nothing im setting getting fat and weak ridiculous . Im afraid that if I walk on it , that the gap will get bigger i wish i knew,thank you for your response

    Lynda this is December , and got exray the non union break has now closed and just walking on the front of the foot again painful , but didn't really get any instructions just told your good to go,,, hmmm it hurts to walk on it , but I guess it may always hurt ,with the osteo, and arthritis, even though it never hurt or bothered me before the break , I never knew I had osteo or arthritis, in feet, but anyway it has been a roller coaster of the most odd dr. advice and still a bit stunned with how it has went , it took six months, I was told most likely I won't be walking three miles a day anymore, at 61 , hmmm so we shall see . Thank you for listening and giving us a place to vent , this makes me not trust our medical system much really .......Truly want to stay away from doctors..........
