One thing after another

It all started a few years back, a year before I transitioned from peri to meno. I had the most crazy anxiety as one thing after another started happening to my body - pain, bloat, couldn't breathe etc. I was so sure I was going to die and the worse was when I adopted Google as my friend and started looking up every symptom.
Fast forward to now and I'm post menopause (if there is such a thing) and my body feels as if I am being put in a washing machine. It started with neck tightness. When that got better, it moved to my shoulder, then arm. When that got better it moved lower and lower. Now my tummy feels strange, my back aches on and off and my knee hurts. Oh, and that feeling that my heart is beating fast (even when it is not), chest discomfort etc. Occasional pop of anxiety and random thoughts. I really hope this transits to a more normal state where all the aches and pains disappear. For now, I just pray every day that things will get better.

Hi there! I'm still perimonopausal but I'm feeling everything you are currently feeling (other than the knee pain). My tummy feels weird, my back aches and I have heart palpitations on and off. This has to be anxiety causing all of this. I'm so anxious about the world right now and worried about my health and my 5 year old daughter who is having a tough time emotionally. In addition I have a constant lump in my throat and constant post nasal drip and throat clearing and feeling tightness/heaviness in my chest and feeling like I need to cough something out. Anxiety makes everything worse. I personally want to get another script for xanax for those really hard days but what does usually help somewhat is breathing in Lavender oil. I take a good 5 to 6 inhales and hold it each time and this usually quiets the anxiety somewhat. Also I have a Sacred Acoustics app which has meditations etc. I use the Healing Center meditation and I always feel amazing directly afterwards, super relaxed and the effects last awhile. I think I need to listen every night for it to be most useful and helpful. Hang in there! We are all going through a lot and supporting each other can only help!

i have the same struggles. its so hard and sad to have to keep feeling like this. i also use oils for help but i then found the weighted blanket. i also suffer from the chest and heart stuff as you and my anxiety is off the chart! i have attacks that wake me from a dead sleep an this weighted blanket has stopped those so far 100%. definitely worth it.

I've been meaning to buy a weighted blanket. I have one for my daughter and she loves it. The only time I seem to be ok is during the night so I've held off on buying myself one. So right now I have a new pain that is worrying me, I've been clearing my throat a ton and now i have some pain in my sternum when I cough. Is it from too much coughing and I've aggravated the area or is it something more serious? ARgh!!! It's always something new, every day. So hard to be constantly stressed about all of these weird symptoms 😦

I know, every single day is different, some symptoms last for days/ weeks and others come and go daily but there is never a day without something going on to freak me out. Right now it is pressure in my upper chest, not sure if it's just in throat or not but can't cough anything up and the anxiety is back 😦

hello you are not alone. I feel like I'm going mad. chest pain with palpitations. Anxiety levels through the roof. Crying at anything. Pain in neck and shoulders ringing in my ears and the list goes on. I had bloods and chest xray and all came back ok. I hope you start to feel better soon as this is no fun for us all. I'm currently trying herbal supplements as I'm not sure about HRT at the moment. Keep well. x x
