Hello Everyone!

I've had one painless tonsil swollen for the past 4 months. I realized this when i decided to take a look inside my mouth for some random reason and got shocked.

I saw my ENT twice so far. the first time he prescribed me steroids which did nothing. The second time he prescribed me peridex mouthwash (also did nothing) and CT scan which said I have a deviated septum and slightly enlarged lymph nodes.

I Have my follow up appointment to discuss the scan in 5 days however they mentioned that they want to make sure that a different, more expeienced doctor is present during my appointment.

My main question is if anyone has experienced something similar and how did that end up? and also is this whole bring in another doctor to discuss results scenario a bad sign? afterall my ENT is only a physicians assistant and yet he's been the one helping me this whole time. I guess I'm just worried if its cancer and wanted a second opinion.

Thanks for your time!
