one way to cure your ibs

Hi everyone, I am 22 years old. I suffered from ibs for around 8 months while at university and I skipped so many lectures due to that. I tried so many ways and nothing worked I was so desperate.

One thing I know for sure is that my ibs was caused by too much stress. I started to get anxious and became panicked very easily because of the ibs, which became another source of stress and worsened my symptoms. During summer vacation it was a little bit better but as soon as I started school again all the symptoms came back. I was so scared that ppl in my class would hear.

I was introduced to EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) technique by my mom and I tried that technique writing up different causes for stress that I could remember. 2 weeks and it was still the same. In the end, I think of the frustration caused by IBS and the anxiety associated with ibs and the symptoms stopped. It was like a vicious circle, stress caused ibs, ibs caused more stress, stress worsened ibs, etc. Of course, you still need to watch what you eat and try not to stress out so much. I was just free from ibs recently and I feel so grateful to my mom that I can now go to lectures without a worry. I sympathize with everyone suffering from ibs and I want you all to be cured like me. Please look into EFT technique, it doesnt cost anything except for around 15 minutes everyday. You are welcome to ask me if you have other questions. Stay strong smile

Hey, even though Im pretty sure my ibs was originally caused by stress, and when ironically in the end it is mostly the anxiety caused by ibs that worsened to my ibs symptoms (along other stresses) so doing EFT helps u get rid of that anxiety.

It also happened to me that, I was ok for a few days, and then I had a bad case of food poisoning and all the symptoms came back it took a week to make it normal again (given that I do EFT everyday), so I kinda understand how ppl develop ibs after having food poisoning (post infective type). I dont know which symptoms u have but for me it was mostly crazy rumbling noises in stomach and intestines, also stomach and intestines bloating (esp. in the morning). Neway those are gone for now but Im still doing EFT everyday to get rid of all the stresses. Keep me updated about ur progress, best of luck to u smile

i had the noro-viruse in november 2012. which they think started it. but then i was admitted to hospital in january and april with peritonitis. i had to have a key hole laporoscopy surgery to remove the fluid in my abdomen. all that was painful enough... but the pain changed in April after the second trip to hospital. and is still very persistent. it took me 10 months to get a diagnosis. i take amitryptalin now 10mg when I'm feeling ok and 25 when it gets bad. but i really suffer with stress and anxiety attacks. i struggle with lots of foods and in turn weight loss, along with really bad sickness and dizziness, and sometimes am in paralysing pain. i don't plan much any more because i have to take every day as it happens. so i hope this will help. slowly getting my life back.

    thank-you for the idea x
