Ongoing back problems please help!

I would like to explain my situation, in hope you will be able to provide me with some help and advice. I am a 27-year-old man who been suffering with terrible back pain for many years now, resulting in me having to take painkillers such as Tramadol and Gabapentin for a prolonged period of time. Since this, I have had several MRIs, with the most recent being conducted on 28/07/2020, following particularly nasty episodes of pain and mobility issues and two incidents of incontinence. The MRI showed little change from the one conducted at the beginning of the year, indicating several existing problems with my spine including an L4/L5 disc prolapse, posterior displacement, little power in the right leg, with the inability to bear weight with susceptible foot drop and compression of the S1 nerve root on the right. I have had several failed nerve block injections also.

I believe that the effects of the medication, the constant and unbearable pain, the subsequent lack of sleep and mobility issues I experience daily are seriously reducing my quality of life. I am concerned with the recent episodes of incontinence, and undesirable effects associated with the long-term use of the aforementioned medications and I am keen to pursue the correct treatment for these issues, rather than simply attempting to mask the constant pain I am in. I really hope you can offer me some help and advice on these issues as I fear if untreated these will worsen. I was recently an inpatient and the hospital have referred me to a specialist, but I am unsure if I will be able to endure the time spent on the lengthy waiting list, as the toll on my mental health is severe and living in this pain is unbearable. I am currently prescribed morphine and gabapentin, but it does not come close to combating the pain I experience daily. I try to work as much as I can, but it is getting dangerous given my lack of sleep and mobility issues. I really don't know what to do anymore.

i had backpain and Sciatica over 3 Years due to herniated disc. initially it was mild pain but later on it became unbearable.

i saw doctor who kept me on pain killer Gabapentin, i had it over 2 and half years.

i felt relax when i took Meds but the problem was i had side effects of Gabapentin and used to forget things. it was a symptoms of Alzheimer.

then i visited a chiropractor for few months i did not feel any difference and it was too costly for me.
