Hi Morag,
If you had posted this question before reporting those changes then i would have advised you to think very carefully before doing so. As you've already reported them then it's too late for that advice now.
People have reported changes and lost everything they already had. On the other hand people also have increased awards and others have the same award. Which ever way you look at it it's always a very risky thing to do. Only 47% of those who report changes have a decision in their favour. This means that more than half of those that report changes lose their award.
Hopefully you sent in evidence to support those changes. Do bear in mind that PIP isn't about a diagnosis, it's totally how those conditions affect you daily.
If a decision goes in your favour then you'll have a new award date. If you have a higher award then you'll receive backdated money. If a decision doesn't go in your favour then your money will stop 4 weeks after the decision is made.
Good luck.

Hi,
The changes is indicated more at those whose health has improved rather than got worse. Different or more medication, a new diagnosis etc doesn't mean someone will be given a higher award.
So many people report changes before looking at the descriptors to see where they can gain those extra points. It's a huge risk. Why put yourself through all of that before a review is due? I know i wouldn't risk my award. Did you send evidence to support your claim? They very rarely contact anyone for evidence. Good luck.
