Ongoing Sinusitis

Had periods of sinusitis for some years due to a deviated septum, lately ive had pain over my eye, under my eye and the side of my nose for several weeks now, two visits to gp latest visit given antibiotics and steroid spray, quite annoyed that GP said she didnt think it was sinusitis, ive had this said before after the usual pressing of my face and forehead and ive not had pain from that when they press on the sinuses .just wondering if many sufferers have this coming and going eye pain and eyebrow pain.

hi. yes, same here too. you need your deviated septum sorting. the turbinates (google enlarged turbinates) in your nose may be enlarged and touching your deviated septum/blocking your nose restricting mucus drainage. this is called a contact headache due to the previously explained which is in the areas you describe, good luck
