Online private prescriptions question

Posted , 1 user is following.

I have a private prescription for some medication which I buy from an online chemist from whom I obtained the prescription.

I've recently found another online chemist who sell the same medication at a lower price. However, to order it I would have to send them a valid prescription (this particular chemist does not issue private prescriptions).

I was wondering if it would possible to use the private prescription I currently have (if I obtained a paper copy of it) or if in this situation it would need to be a prescription issued by an NHS GP?

Thanks for any advice.
