What's a good over the corner ontiment I can buy for OB's?

    Generic acyclovir cream for cold sores is good. Should be OTC in most places. Works on genital lesions, not only cold sores, by hastening healing (does not prevent shedding or transmission, however).

      Different active ingredient, so I don't know whether it's better, worse or the same as acyclovir in terms of effectiveness. I have personally used acyclovir cream, not Abreva, so can only vouch for the former, I'm afraid.
