    hello

glad you have your date for your operation. I have had two hip operations this year 4 months apart and second hip I am currently 4 weeks post op.  I also had my operation in the spire hospital in leicester and not sure if you are the same hospital but cant recommend it enough. Had both operations done there and everybody was very supportive.

Let's hope it is early on in December so that you can recover a bit before the Christmas festivities begin.

Are you having it done privately or through the NHS, Our local NHS hospital currently has awaiting list of nearly a year and it has been driving me mad.

Hi I had my first April 2015 then my second September 2015. The second was much quicker to respond to the excercises etc, because the first leg operated on is strong and normal. After my first op I had to rely on a leg that was also needing a hip op, it was stiff and weak.

You should recover very well. Best wishes to you.
