Operated leg longer than other one

Hi my op has left me with my operated leg longer than the other by about 1cm. I have discussed this with you all in the past and had some encouraging tips and pointers. I am now nine weeks post op and although I feet great and love my walking again, I find my back is even worse than before (I have stenosis in my spine) I think it's due to my lopsided walk. I know some of you mentioned heel raisers (I like to call them Hell raisers) but is it too soon to use them. People say it may even out over time and not to use heel raisers too soon. Is nine weeks post op too soon? Your thoughts please?
Thanks in advance
Cindy

I can understand your concerns about your leg length difference but I would be surprised if one cm was sufficient to cause a problem.
I suspect that I may have suggested it
in the past but if I had unexplained back pain I would make an appointment with a good chiropractor....not a McTimoney one. Whilst this may not solve your problem it should help to narrow down the cause of your pain.
Good luck
Richard

I kind of agree with Richard regarding the 1 cm difference -
did it come up at the 6 weeks follow up appointment ?
I would give it more time -
let us know how you are getting on , okay
seems that you are doing well make sure that your posture is straight and walk properly
big warm hug

Thank you Renee for you kind thoughts. It's a little dissapointing for me as I felt I have done really well. I did tell them about it at my follow up and they said it's early days yet. I feel better with the heel raiser and being able to walk "straight" 1cm isn't a lot but it certainly feels like it. I have back pain now that I didn't have at 5 weeks post of and also groin pain. I'm hoping it goes it just seems odd to have come 9 weeks post op and not before. xxx
