opinons on clozapine required

I'm a schizophrenic amd would appreciate peoples honest opinions on clozapine. I dont currently take it/

    Hi Chrissy. I have paranoid schizophrenia and take clozapine. I didn't experience much improvement at all with any of the other antipsychotics I've tried.

    Clozapine has helped a little, but I still have symptoms all day everyday. However they are slightly less intense, enough so that I have been able to return to my job.

    I had a little weight gain at the start, around 7lbs, but this stopped as I justed to the med and I've managed to loose what I gained and actually more. I'm not over weight at all. 

    The biggest problem I have is with white cell count. I'm having weekly blood tests to monitor this, which is hell for me because I have many paranoias and sever OCD around this and many other things of course.

    can you take clozapine in a single nightly dose?
