Opposite buttock pain after hip replacement

After THR in left hip, I woke up with aching pain in the middle of my right buttock which has lasted till today - 7 days post-op. It hurts if I press on the site. It feels like the "sitting bone" is bruised (though there is no visible bruise on the skin) or has a bursitis. Has anyone else experienced this? I can cope fine with the pains in the operated hip but this one is unexpected and makes movement more difficult.
