Hi,
I was wondering if anyone has had any experiences with ON, I've just been diagnosed and I'm terrified.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Hi, I've had uveitis ....is it quite similar I had anterior uveitis. Was treated with steroid eye drops. Think they may be a bit different but both caused by inflammation.

Anything to do with vision loss is scary but the good news is that it almost always recovers fully - (as given on the NHS website) : ON doesn’t always require treatment and can heal on its own. Medications, such as corticosteroids, can help speed recovery. Most who experience ON have complete (or nearly complete) vision recovery within two to three months, but it may take up to 12 months to achieve the vision recovery.

Thanks so much for the replies!
Yes anything to do with eyes is awful, I also have anxiety so find my worries getting out of control at the best of times. I'm panicking about the link to MS and should probably stop googling. I've been through a pretty stressful time in the run up to this happening and was wondering if that had anything to do with it!
