Is this herpes on my lip. I woke up this morning with out it, but about an hour or so ago I found this on my lip. 
Pls any help will be greatly appreciated. I've never had a cold sore so I'm not sure what this could be.

Would there be a difference between hsv1 vs hsv2 other than the location?

So this spot only lasted for a day. It never crusted over or anything like that. Cold sores usually last a couple of days to a week right, then they crust up. This didnt so Any thoughts.
