Oral Sex w/ HSV2

I'm a female that has HSV2.  I contracted it the first week in November, and ever since being diagnosed I have been on daily acyclovir for suppressive therapy.  I haven't had any outbreaks since my initial OB.  I'm wondering -- if a guy wants to give me oral sex, what are the chances of passing it to him that way?  Or are there any other risks?

If you are on suppressive therapy and you dont have any outbreaks you are probly fine. Ask him to get the tests, chances are he may already have it.

HSV-2 rarely infects the oral region and is nearly always genital, so the risk is minimal. Be wary of any potential breakthrough signs and symptoms and obviously avoid anything sexual if and when you do. New infections are more infectious during the first few months to a year, but daily suppressive therapy should offset that.

Thanks.  I understand that HSV1 can cause HSV1-genital, so I guess I was kind of wondering if receiving oral sex could give HSV2-oral, or if that isn't really a thing.  OR -- If I am shedding at the time, could that still give regular HSV2 genital -- it would just enter the body in a different way?   Considering I contracted this on November 7th -- it's been 4 months now.  Is it always a year before you're less infectious or does it really depend on the person?

HSV-2 rarely causes oral infections, so the risk of passing it either way is minimal. First year is most infectious for gHSV-2 for most people. gHSV-1 probably more just the first few months before adequate antibody production.
