ive been having upper left back pain and pain under left rib for a year . ive had bowel issues too. my dr doesnt see a connection and ive had varius tests which come back clear . litetally two weeks ago i was diagnosed with heart disease .

but i have noticed (must be for several months now) that it looks like im wearing orange eye shadow ??? does this sound like jaundice , my eyes themselves are not discoloured . ? and i assume jaundice would just get worse and develope relativly qyickly ?

any thoughts ?

This could be soooo many things. You should pursue a referral to a gastroenterologist for the stool and pain under your ribs. The orange eyelids does not sound like jaundice as it's usually the whites of the eyes that turn yellow and your urine would be a lot darker. In addition they should have caught it by now if it has been a few months.

yes these are my thoughts to ive had colonscopy and endoscopy and all was clear also LF bloods also calprotectin stool sample which had slightly raised marker but dr and gastro dr not worried ! so i suppose i should stop worrying

also i guess the heart issue may be causing some of the stuff ?

      who knows ?

thanks so much for taking the time to reply x

    Hi there

Have you started new medication recently?? it may well be that this is a side affect. If in doubt keep telling your dr.

    Good luck!!

OMG someone else with orange eyelids!!! I have had them for close to 20 years( I am 52). I had one family doctor investigate it by asking several different specialists. They all came back with no idea why. They can be neon orange at times. It is odd but as far as I have been told harmless.
