Orgasms after aquablation

I had an aquablation procedure two weeks ago. I have had some urine flow issues but my doc says that all went well and I am recovering properly. There was one topic on which he was entirely unclear, however, and the internet thus far has failed to provide useful information. Similarly, my email to the aquablation developer has gone unanswered.
This seems like information that should be available readily but it is not, so I will ask here: how soon after aquablation is it safe to have an orgasm? I already am having erections, so I would like to know what I can do with them.
I previously had a laser prostate procedure. At its conclusion, the urologist was quite clear: no orgasms for 45-60 days or risk damaging my internal organs. I haven't had similar warnings this time, so I wonder if the risks are the same or less significant with the more modern procedure.
I appreciate any information you can provide .

Hi Mike - I was told by my uro no sex of any kind for six weeks after the aquablation. (My aquablation was about seven months ago.) I think that was a much longer waiting period compared to other guys on this site, many of whom have said that they resumed sex after a couple weeks, with their doc's permission. I was told to wait six weeks before the surgery, so it was not as a result of any complication that may have happened in my particular case, just my particular doctor's routine advice. I suggest you have a discussion with your own doctor about this, and follow his or her advice.
In any case, I think the long wait was a good thing for me. Although I was going crazy waiting that long, when I finally got out of the "penalty box", I found that the first few orgasms were tenuous and weak, with only a small volume of watery semen oozing (not shooting) out. The first few orgasms also involved some pain inside the urethra. All of those symptoms improved dramatically over the next couple months, so that I am now back to normal and enjoying a health sex life with the same semen volume and intensity as before.
Good luck.

Ed, thank you. This is the most comprehensive information that I have seen on this topic. I genuinely appreciate it.

My doc's pamphlet said 2 weeks on a holium type procedure (an eneucleation) and it was way too soon. I would wait the full 6 weeks if you can and for sure 4 weeks. Since my first time I'm still getting a raw pain for 15-20 seconds at the end of urination 80% of the time (it may be some sort of prostatitis). I feel like it gets worse when I experiment with ejaculation. I'm encouraged to see the message above that the pain inside the urethra improved dramatically. Although my pain happens afterwards at the end of urination and feel only a little bit of discomfort on ejaculation. the area is more sensitive than you think.

Thanks, Mike. This is very useful, although not what I wanted to hear.
I hope your recovery continues apace.

Mike,
My doc advised 2 weeks. I waited exactly 2 weeks before any attempt. The first time there was a small discomfort, not really to the level of pain. Ejaculate was rusty color for the first couple of times. Discomfort went away and I am over 2 months out now from surgery and no sexual issues. Early on the pre-ejaculate production seemed to have not been present, but that as well as normal ejaculate volume are now at pre-aquablation levels or possibly even better. Hope this helps and your recovery continues to go well.

Very helpful, Randy! Thank you for the information. Your doc seems more liberal than some others!

My surgeon says when you are ready, you will know what you can do. No restrictions. In my case it took about 4.5 weeks post op for the first time. Same experience as Ed moving forward. I am 8 weeks post op and it is definitely getting better in the post op sex area of this procedure.
I was a bit apprehensive the first time with sexual relations with my wife. It did work and it each time is better than the time before
