Hi everybody,

I am 7 month post ORIF surgery, I have removed the screws 2 months ago. I walk normally and no body can tell I had the surgery, lately, I can jog for a short distant.

My problem is that, I am feel pain and I limp when I rest for even 15 min, so I sit for 10 min, and then try to walk I feel it's stiffed and I will start limping for another 1 min and then it gets more flexible and start walking normally.

I wonder when I will get over this habit! I feel bad when I am in meeting and then the first 10 steps show limping and people start questioning.

Plz assist from your experience .

that's normal , i had the same problem. the best solution to that is the strengthning excecises. everyday you need to some type of excercise that going to put a little weight on the ankle. whenever you sit for 10mins and try to walk you have to walk threw that without favoring the ankle. training it to do what you want and not what it wants to do. it's tough but you can do it
