Orlistat effect in our system

For how long is orlistat effective once taken? Thanks!

    The instructions are to take it either with a meal or within one hour afterwards.  So I would imagine it would not be effective outside those times.

    So the usual regimen for Orlistat is 120mg before each meal. It works by stopping the fat from each meal being absorbed. So once you stop taking it, it stops working and the fat will be absorbed.
