Hi everyone

This is for anyone who struggling with what to eat on these tablets

I have just purchased ' the alli diet plan' book from ebay and its full of recipe ideas and advice on what these tablets do , so if anyone is struggling BUY this book it is very helpfull

    Hello. Could you please give some example recipe from the book? 

    I just started orlistat on Sunday and need some recipes ideas x

      Soups

      Sandwiches and light lunches

      Poultry

      Meat

      Vegetarian

      Pasta

      Sauces n dressings

      Desserts

      Bites

      It also does dailymenu plans x

      Breakfast

      Greek yoghurt with berries and walnuts

      295cal 13.9g fat

      100g mixed berries

      Strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries

      150g fat free greek yoghurt

      20g walnuts

      20g (2tsp) runny hunny

      Wash fruit and hull if necessary

      Place yoghurt in bowl sprinkle over with berries , add nuts , drizzle hunny

      Eat at once

      169cal 0.3g without walnuts

      Steak and mangetout stirfry

      100g basmati rice

      1tbsp tapeseed oil

      150g lean rump steak cut into strips

      30g spring onions

      200g mangetout

      80g baby sweetcorn

      1 head pak choi

      1tsp ginger

      1tsp chopped lemon grass

      1tbsp soy sauce

      2tbsp dry sherry/Chinese wine

      Cook rice

      Brown steak in non stick wok

      Then remove from pan n keep warm

      Add spring onions , mangetout, baby corn with a little water and quick cook for 3-4mins

      Add steak back to pan along with pak choi and cook till pak choi has wilted

      Mix the ginger, lemon grass, and sauce n sherry together then pour over steak , quickly stir to heat through

      Drain rice and serve together immediately

      I thought we had to eat 5g per 100g and the breakfast you have mention its13.9 fat? I'm so confused x

      I have brought the book but a lot of the stuff is over 5 g per 100,, I think I've mis understanding ? Can you help please x

    Thank you so much ! Looks  like a good guide I will buy it definitely.

    I am adapting new habits slowly and this book will be helpful.

      It is definitely worth buying , i bought mine off ebay and paid under £3 for it , it is a white book with multi coloured title , just so you your buying the right one

      Ar great you ordered one , i have found it very helpfull , it helped me understand the way the tablets work better , it filled in the blanks as GPs arnt very good at explaining them
