Hi joannen1973... this too is my 4th day and as much as I want to get on the scales, I know it would be pointless as these are such early days, not much will have changed! Ive learnt (because Im a dinosaur), that patience really IS a virtue, something I havent got much of, but in this instance (our weight loss) something we really have to develop. Give yourself at least a week before weighing in. If you are eating correctly and are taking the Orlistat, you WILL see change eventually. Dont get upset. There really is no other way of reducing our weight than a healthy way as all else leaves us unhealthy and what is the good in that, just wasted days and not being able to enjoy our 'slimness'. Read all the positive posts on this site, so many people cannot be wrong! Stay strong and good luck with your endeavour!  biggrin

I am on day 4 too, drink plenty of water and I recommend epsom salt baths (I posted a thread on it earlier). That should get things moving for the next morning

    Eating prunes may also help

I thinka loss in 4 days is unlikely but hang in there

These are not magic pills that make u loose weight!! You have to do that! These pills stop you from eating crap! You get really bad side effects if you do! They don't make you loose weight quickly they keep you on the straight and narrow!

Takes a week to get into your system to rid any fat you over eat. Give it time, be good watch your calories and it will come off. But you over eat these pills won't make you loose you have to do all the hard work!

    Hi

It's been 4 days... it's going to be a minmum 2 weeks before you see anything come off and you have to stick to it if you want to lose the weight. I agree with fatfairy they aren't magic pills but the weight WILL come off if you put in the hard work. We all lose weight at different rates some fast some slow.

    Good Luck

also please don't keep weighing yourself you will only drive yourself mad i would never have a set of scales in the house.

I think people think you take them and loose weight!!! We both know it takes lots of hard work and sticking to low fat low calorie for them to work!!!

I agree. I hate when people say that taking diet pills is cheating that it is the easy way out- it's really not we still have to eat a VERY low fat diet plus exercise aswell.

i wish they were magic pills sometimes haha x

Hang on in there.. you will be fine, drink plenty of water and eat well. Dont weigh your self every day its good not to have any scales in the house, My OH has hidden our scales so i just get weighed every 4 weeks at the nurse and its so nice to see the result and it gives you motivation to carry on what you are doing.
