Orlistat won't work if u just check Fat content

After being on Olistat for a month and having less than 20g of Fat a day i lost no weight at all. I was of the understanding that I only had to check Fat content.......HOW WRONG WAS I !

It turns out if you dont check the label for Calories aswell then you could easily eat thousands of calories a day and very little Fat, its not just Fat that makes you gain weight.

So I returned to Doctors after losing no weight and as i am very limited physically he told me to drop my total Calorie intaake to 1000 Calories a day including fluids.

This has been easy as I use My Fitness Pal app which has Nutrition Data of pretty much evey thing you would eat and drink so it does the maths for you.

I was 15 Stonne 6 Pounds on January 28th 2016 and now 13Stonne.

I have very rarely had any symptoms of taking Orlistat so think the weight loss is down to burning more Calories than I intake. Obviously if i eat something with a fat content of about over 5g in one portion I may get a little oil when I go to the toilet but nothing like how other people discribe .

Ideally someone active needs more than just a 1000 calories a day so make sure you adapt the figure to suit your lifestyle, if anyone wants some tips on foods ect Private message me :-)

are u putting in litrally everything that goes in ur mouth including drinks and fruit? alot of people dont remember drinks, dont drop to 1000 unless u are limeted physically coz u wont have enough energy if u are doing alot

I have it set at sedentary level as i am quite limited exercise wise due to shoulder surgery and possible achilles tendon surgery in next few months , so cant move around much due to pain

i think its all a case of how much weight you have to lose ect i had to have a BMI of under 30 so had under 6 months to lose about 2 stonne so it worked for me but i use weighing scales to weigh out portions also so i know when i look at a packet i am havent the correct portion size as its too easy to give yourself large portions without realising
