Otitis externa...... Can this outer ear infection cause fatigue?

Hi, I have been suffering with itchy and swollen ears for a week now. (just inside the ear, not behind ear drum)

Doctor is prescribing me some antibiotic drops, but wondering if this minor infection can cause hearing loss (fullness) and general feelings of malaise and fatigue. I just feel absolutely shattered and wondering how long it takes for the antibiotics to kick in and for my energy levels to improve.

Any advice from regular sufferers welcome.

    Hello!

    I am having this problem as well and just read that it can cause hearing loss and the sensation of a popping sound but I guess that if you are not sleeping well, you can feel tired..
