Otoclerosis having stapedectomy surgery

Posted , 1 user is following.

Hello,

I was just diagnosed with otosclerosis and 90% hearing loss in my left ear and some loss in my right ear. I'm very concerned with the hearing loss as well and the constant ringing, roaring, buzzing and hissing in my head. I'm very dizzy to the point that I'm unable to drive it's too dangerous. I wanted to get some feedback from anyone who feels/felt the same way and had the surgery did it help with the noises in your head? I understand that my hearing would most likely improve but not much information on the dizziness and banging in my head.
