OUR B.V IS NOT GOING AWAY. OUR NEXT STEP..........

I have been suffering from bv for years. No matter what i try it doesn't go away. No one has found a cure for this not even the drs. Well now I feel like we need some public answers. Its a taboo topic but we still need help. I'm sure if this was a guy problem it would have been resolved long ago. We women have been pushed to the side for awhile and this is something we shouldn't let go easily. This condition is destroying relationships, marriages, and a person's self esteem. I even wanted to commit suicide. We also have to protect our daughters and the young girls who are coming off age. I also think it's hereditary because my mom and my sis deals with this condition also. My mom has found a way to deal with hers weekly like a routine but I don't want this permanently. Ladies let's come together and get the attention of some big wigs & get our condition cleared. Because it's not going away. Period and your Dr is not gonna do anything other than prescribe you flagyl or metronidazole which work for sometime and it comes right back.

I completely agree with everything you said. It too has made me contemplate suicide and worsen my already terrible mental health.

I did hear of a new drug that was just approved by the FDA called Solosec, its a single dose treatment for BV specifically. I cannot find any reviews on it since it is a brand new drug, but its comforting knowing that the company  sought out to create this, and even stated that women with this infection have been neglected with the lack of treatment options.
