Outbreak of reddish spots

I have an outbreak of reddish spots all over the front (and back - can feel bumpiness). I have seen reddish spots here and there over the years. Please see attached picture. I believe the outbreak happens after my air conditioner stopped blowing out cool air and then having seen a post online by someone who uses a high-end Vornado air circulator to substitute for AC, I decided to try 2 models of Vornado for about two weeks. Vornado air circulator are at least powerful fans and perhaps it drys up my body and trigger the redness outbreak. I also was wearing a T-shirt that is part rayon that feels a bit scratchy. Those are possible causes I guess. Are reddish spots shown in the picture acne or something else. Please help diagnose this skin issue and suggest OTC cream/lotion/body wash if possible to solve the problem. What about hydrocortisone cream? Thank you in advance!

(I have since have someone replace condenser on the AC so it is working again)

Update: The reddish spots have faded into light-brownish color as the temperature in the Phoenix area dropped to the 80s due to heavy rain.

But will it return to more reddish as temperature go back to low- to mid- 100s by early next week?

But I still want to know what these spots are because these are still all over the body. Thanks.

Do they itch? With high temperatures and wearing a scratchy top it sounds like urticaria which would itch.

Only wear 100% cotton and loose clothing and have cool showers. Hydrocortisone cream will help. If it itches you could try taking one antihistamine tablet per day.
