This is approximately my 6th breakout in the last 8 months. The "lesions" or "sores"
are EXTREMELY painful. I am so sick and tired of being sick and tired. This OB has lasted nearly 2 months. Getting to the point where it is definitely affecting my mental well being.

Are you immune compromised? If you're not on antivirals definitely reconsider or change the medication.

Hello, yes antivirals usually help most people who take them to lessen outbreaks

really sorry to hear that - looks very painful. Have you considered taking anti-virals like Acyclovir?

If you are not doing so already, get on a daily dosage of Valtrex. Supposed to minimize your OB's a great deal.
