Outbreaks every 9 days post medication

I’ve discovered a pattern.  I can’t target what set off my initial outbreak but I was a carrier of HSV 2 I’ve learned (because I hadn’t had sex in so long and had sex and suddenly had an outbreak the next day- tests showed the virus was in my body greater than 4 weeks).

Anyways, after my initial outbreak I was given Valtrex for 10 days.  After I finished the meds, 9 days later I got a second outbreak but it was only one small blister on my vagina and I was able to start the 3 day meds immediately.  No signs or symptoms either.  It cleared up in 2 days.  Once again, 9 days post meds I think I’m getting my third outbreak!  Except this time it’s on the back of my legs where the crease of my butt starts.  There are red dots everywhere and it’s burning.  I don’t know if I should start Valtrex again or if it’s possible irritation.  It doesn’t look like blisters but it’s definitrly red dots.  When I google it shows images of the blisters right on the butt but not going onto the back of the legs.

Possible third outbreak?  Help!  sad

You said your test results showed that hsv2 has been in your body greater than 4 week. How do you know that? I'm not sure if you are experiencing a 3rd outbreak or not. I haven't had one put my test results came back positive

You have to do a serum test.  The reason I knew is because I hadn’t had sex in well over a year and then ended up having sex.  Had my initial break out literally 24 hours later and went to my doctor.  They sent me for serum testing and one of the tests came back stating I’ve had the HSV 2 virus greater than 4 weeks which is like an antibody test.  Meaning I was a carrier because there was no possible way to contract it if I wasn’t sexually active for over a year and a half.

First you have to be dead sure that 2 nd and 3 rd time were herpes.

    May be not.

If you are sure so i think you need suppressive therapy at least until you boost your weak immunity with vitamins and diet.

I’m starting IV therapy in July to help with vitamins.  My pantry is like a drug store and I’m taking a lot of stuff including oregano oil, garlic, cranberry, probiotic, lysine, zinc and vitamin C.

It was confirmed I had a second outbreak but I started a third round of suppressive therapy and the spots went away next day.  My second outbreak only lasted 48 hours- if that.  What a pain in the butt.  Literally.
