I was wondering if anyone has the same symptons as me ?

I'm 43 had hysterecotmy 10years ago due to heavy bleeding, ive suffered with adhesion's and have had them removed on one occasion, but about 4-5 yrs ago had a lot of stomach pain i got told i had a very small cyst on my left ovary, then that was that nothing was done not even checked, then back in april this year i went to see my gp because i had this burning feeling inside my vagina it was awfull and stomach ache, she did a swab and urine sample and i mentioned about my cyst she said it should have been checked so referred me for a scan which i had begin of june they found a cyst on my right ovary just under 5cms so i went to see gynae doc 7th july who was more concerned with my bladder because i want to wee for britain, get up in the night and i go to the toilet before we leave the house but i will be bursting when i get anywhere even on short trips got referred for physio, went there and got examined i didn't have any muscles working so had to have stimulation treatment twice a wk for 3 wks, in all this ive still got the burning feeling and chronic stomach ache and now back ache and ive been off work 12wks because i feel so ill, after the stim treatment she checked me again and ive got a little movement now but can only hold for 2 secs,i go bk 2 see physio on the 2nd oct and gynae 8th oct, he said he won't remove my ovary because of me having my hysterectomy because it's more complicated to do but he did say that he would consider checking for adhesions again but wanted to sort my bladder out first, i saw my gp last tues and i told her that 5 mths ago i came about the burning and i'm worse now than before and it's there all the time, intercourse makes it worse so did the physio stimulation, i feel like i'm walking like john wayne lol but serious i'm sorry ive gone on a bit, but as anyone felt like this, i'm so fed up with it all. thankyou Kim xx

Hi Kim, A couple of years ago i was the same urinating more frequently, can't remember a burning sensation, but had severe backache, my doc diaganosed me as having P I D pelvic inflamatory desease treated me on with powerful antibiotics which worked instantly.Could also be urinary tract infection which can make you feel really poorly, just antibiotics needed again, you can also hallucinate with this. ( JUST A THOUGHT) I too have 4cm cyst on right ovary been waiting since december for gynae to get in touch, heard nothing, this can also put presure on your bladder my does, plus backache, swollen abdomen, feeling lathargic, feeling of pressure where cyst is.I don't want to be an hypocrite but you should see your doc asap especially if its making you feel so unwell.

Let me know how you go on,

were all here to help each other so don't feel like your going on

    Take care Kaz

Hi Kim Goodluck for in 3 wks, someone put on this site that were all cysters lol. They found a cyst on right ovary during my sterilisation which i had done 4 or 5 years ago, referred to a synograher who said right ovary isn't working at all. Told my loyal family doc,he said what a load of rubbish, and that was that, started having problems 2 years ago, felt pressure on right side, my leg occasional feels numb too, but i suffered excruciating pain when coming on period, absolutely floored me, would rather give birth again. Went to docs again in nov 07 sent straight for a ultrasound, whilst there he did a transvagional, notes said i have 4cm cyst on R.O. aren't they amazing (sarcasism) , referred back to check growth 6 wks laterdec 07. My doc referred me to gynae and still waiting for appointment 9 months later. But after i gave you advice today i gave myself some and made appointment with my doc 4 next friday.

Hey and you thought you went on

    Take care cyster

Hi Kaz you made me laugh with the cyster, it's so true lol.

Why don't you phone the hospital they say now with the nhs you should be seen within 18 wks you've gone way over that or phone the surgery and ask when they sent your referral because you've not been seen,i would cos you've waited a long time ,maybe it's gone missing etc.

    Hope you hear something soon.

Hi - it was me that mentioned the cyster thing - infact lets start a cysterhood :D

Its funny really because my cyst was intially found when they were checking me out for kidney stones in my left kidney - up until that point I had no idea I had a cyst.

That was about 3yrs ago now and I was told it was a simply cyst and to leave it alone - apparently they are very common and come and go all the time.

Like you Kim - I could wee for Britain, and I always felt full - then I had the burning sensation and was sure my kidney had another stone. My GP had me scanned - and thats when it was discovered that instead of disappearing my cyst had gotten a lot bigger.

They think it's now infact not a simple cyst but a dermoid cyst - so it's coming out in January (if not before).

So cysters - thats what brings me here today.

    You ladies take care.
