I'm so sorry for your pain, I don't know much about stones, but I do know drinking a lot of water may help. Did the doctor give you anything to help?

I found the only thing which helped was lying down, it eased pain but did not always go away.  How strong are your painkillers, when it was bad paracetamol and ibuprofen didnt work, after more than a week and an admittance to hospital eventually a dr prescribed codeine which worked.  The pharmacist then suggested co-codamol which is a mixture of codeine and paracetamol.

Hope you get sorted soon, pain is so debilitating to your every day activities.  Heat is often suggested, hot bath, hot water bottle or a microwave wheat bag?

Forgotten co-codamol, it is a good one. Playing a hot shower on the affected area can also help
