ovarian cyst on depo

ive been having lots of symptoms the same as most of you ladys, lower back ache, looking pregnant, really bloating, constipation, stabbing pains in the pelvic area, so tired, no energy. i went to my docs who states it could be IBS. he done a ca125 and levels were slightly raised, i went for a scan on the pelvic area, nothing, everything was normal, got referred to a gynae, had biopsy, that come back clear also had CT scan. results of that was normal apart from a small ovarian cyst 2.4 cm. i carnt really understand why i have a cyst if i dont ovalate. can any one help.

    hi tracy well i can tell you the cyst is causin you the pain as i  was told it was ibs,if you read back to 2013 my letters u will see i went through this then when operated on they dicovered it had tortion which the dermoid had twisted around my right ovary 3.5 times,go back if u have pain pester them,i had to,best of luck magsbiggrin)

    Hi Mags, thanks for your reply. yes i had an inner scan, early on in the year and nothing was there it was only when i had a ct scan that they seen the cyst. i dont even know what sort it is, i will read back thank you. do u think that they will monitor this cyst as it may grow ? like i said i dont have periods as i have been on the depo injection for over 10 years now. this is why i have alot of confusion about it al as some of the storyies you read are with many woman having periods and ovalating. it doesnt cause me pain all the time but sometimes if i stretch or sudden move i feel a pulling sensation. i have a real heavy feeling as if something is going to pop and im always bloated. i was sitting down the other day and all i could feel was like a nerve pain just throbbing

    hi i have gone through my menopause 7yrs ago,i to didnt bleed just was in lots pain,they saw a cyst on scan wasnt until surgeon operated he found it was huge and spun around my ovary ,torstion,i had both ovaries removed and dermoid tumor..cyst..i have just had a bisopsy as my womb lining is now 16mm thick and they removed polyps,i am awaiting results,i am still in pain,i want womb removed so i get no more cysts polyps etc ,even if it comes bk neg,i want this done,ill let you know outcome,all i can say is ,its your body,i had to keep bothering them ,with the help of my gp,the surgeon in begining said it was ibs,he went on holiday for 1 month giving me laxitives which i told him i go perfect everyday ,i was admitted to hospital 2 times in the month,when he came back i got appointment and said.....take it out get rid this cyst,,,,he did thank god and said sorry to me as he didnt know it was torstion,hm see so dont sit back you know your own body they dont,,,,i wish you all the best keep me in touch and tc magssmile

    arrrr that is not good being in pain like that. please let me know how you get on. yes u are right, i carnt just leave it, gonna have to discuss this with gp or gynae, i know its only a small cyst (2.4cm) but this might grow which may cause more problems and i dont want that. thank u mags and let me know how u get on, you take care x
