hi, sorry about the essay but would appreciate anyones input.

I'm 26 years old. 3 months ago i had a UTI wich i struggled to get rid of. went on like a million set of antibiotics but my body just wasn't feeling right.

I had a sharp pain in my right side, the pain would shoot through my body making me feel dizzy and tired. I had extreme pelvic pain, doctor tawt my pelvis was inflammed and gave me antibiotics. Pain on my right side wouldnt go away accompanied with hot flashes and i just couldnt take it.

I rushed to the ER twice but my medical aid wouldnt allow me to be admitted. I eventually went for a scan NO GALLSTONES, NO KIDNEY STONES NOTHING. nothing on my blood results. felt better over the weekend but went to a gynae yest. SCAN WAS CLEAR!! NO CYST!! gynae then said it couldve been a ruptured cyst.

i don't have any more symptoms aside from the dull ache in my side. does anyone have experience with this?? does the pain last after a cyst ruptured? and for how long?im so worried i just wana feel better.

any feedback would be really helpful thanks in advance smile

Every month, your ovary releases an egg, which forms a small cyst until it bursts, and is released, to be fertilised or just to leave your body.

This is why some people have a spot of bleeding when they are ovulating, it's the cyst rupturing.

Sometimes it doesn't rupture when it should, and that's the most likely cause of your pain. If you had a cyst now, it would show on scans.

Hi Laura thanks for your response smile

so do you think this pain should clear up shortly?

im feeling way better beside the pain i have on my side now

I think it should, but if you're prone to this happening, it could always happen again.

If the pain doesn't go, you need to go back to your doctor.

I have cyst but they only bothered me during my monthly friend. I dnt get that friend any more & wen i get that kinda pain my kidney dr who has had stones as well told me i would have another stone. They are hard to find due to in my case they like to float around. My pain is usually on my right side, but my stones r norm on my left or in my bladder. Find urself a good srry guys but women kidney dr. When she had her stone & they told her it was a stone she questioned them due to her specialty thats y she told me that. Right now i live away from her n cant figure out how to spell her last name also the morons where office is says thats not her name so i cant get my 3 stones out. I cant pass them on my own, they need to b zapped out and have a stent in there. The surgeon here is a a**hole. He will not remove them. Good luck hope this helps a bit. If its not a stone try and get a laparoscopy. Its a little cut in ur navel they pump air into u n insert a cam to look in u,

u might have endometriosis. Thats a ovarian cyst problem another procedure ive done to check out my cysts, if it is thiers meds 4 that..
