This is my ultrasound results but my doctor call me and said is normal but the results got me more nervious . I’m still waiting for the results of my left leg ultrasound and I’m having a colonoscopy tomorrow . Any input about these my ovaries are like not even the same size. Is this normal I won't goggle.
The uterus is anteflexed and measures 6.7 x 3.6 x 5.1 cm. Normal echotexture of the myometrium. Uterine vessels without abnormal uterine masses.
The endometrial stripe measures 0.6 cm. No focal endometrial lesions. Incidental nabothian cysts.
The right ovary measures 2.5 x 2.3 x 1.8 cm. Normal venous Doppler flow in the right ovary. Arterial flow in the right ovary is not documented.
The left ovary measures 4.2 x 2.1 x 2.7 cm. The left ovary is only seen on the transabdominal technique.
There is a dilated tubular structure in the left adnexa, without internal flow.
No free fluid.
IMPRESSION:
1. Dilated tubular structure in the left adnexa seen on the transvaginal technique, without significant internal flow, could represent dilated tube versus thrombosed veins. 2. The right ovary is normal in echotexture with documentation of venous flow. Arterial flow is not documented, probably technique related. 3. Normal appearance of the uterus and endometrium with incidental nabothian cysts. 4. Please note, this examination is not performed with live interpretation by the radiologist. If the patient continues to be symptomatic, repeat pelvic ultrasound with live interpretation at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth may be considered.
