Ovarian cysts and your weight

I was told about three weeks ago at an ultra sound that my cyst is approximately 35cm. Due to how large it is it's quite hard to accurately track but that was there best guess. I'm over weight so it wasn't overly noticeable, it just looked like I'd gained more weight. Now I'm starting to look pregnant though, my tummy really sticks out and I've developed a waddle when I walk! I'd guess it's getting bigger, I certainly feel bigger, but my weight hasn't changed. What's everyone else's experience been in terms of cyst sizes, how it looks physically and any weight changes.

I'm normal weight/BMI etc and just had a grapefruit sized cyst removed via keyhole last Monday. I looked about 12-15 weeks pregnant comparing my actual pregnancy pics from 2012! Which is not surprising as at 12-15 weeks pregnant your uterus is actually the size of a grapefruit! I've lost about a stone during the course of first getting symptoms, diagnosis and finally surgery. It really messed with my appetite, as did the pain medication. The cyst itself was fluid filled so probably didn't weigh a huge amount, but still something. Yours must weigh quite a lot at that size! Does it cause you any pain or anything?
I know PCOS and hormonal imbalances in genral can cause weight gain. So quite likely to be connected.
Here are me before and after shots! 2 days pre-op and 9 days post-op
