Ovarian hemorrhage cyst has anyone done the surgery to remove it?

hi I have been suffering with a 5cm hemorrhage ovarian cyst for the past couple of months. I have been in and out of hospital and the doctors have decided its best to do the larascopy surgery to remove it, however they did tell me they would be a chance my left ovary would be removed with it as it is attached.

I'm very much conflicted about what I should do now I don't really want to lose an ovary in the process.. is there anyone who has done this that can advice me please I would really appreciate it.

    Hi, Yes, I had a cyst kn my right ovary, and gad ti have the ovary removed as well as the cyst was wrapped around it. I wasn't bothered as I'm post meno anyway. It was a simple enough surgery and easy to recover from.
