Ovaritns , in 2004 had one will it return

In 2004 during my pregnancy I had these stomach pains, My OBGYN said I was gassy, But the pain was frequent and unlike any gas I had experienced. So after two or three days I went to er.

  They said I had a cyst on my ovary and that my body was trying to reject my baby ..

I cant 100% recall but I was lucky and didnt miscarry,,

 But i am wondering can it come back? 

COuld  I get abcesses more frequent if like it says it makes abdomen a abcess???

PLEASE HELP

    Yes, cysts can come back for sure! They can continue to show up.
