Ovary cyst pain scare

Wondering if any other post menopausal women have had this. For the past 4 months I’ve been experiencing off and right ovary pain. It’s sometimes a twinge, sometimes sharp, and sometimes just dull. I have no other symptoms of, fullness, nausea, weight loss . There have been some mornings where my bowel movement differ. I’ve made an appointment with a gynecologist finally, as I have not seen one since my last child 17 years ago. I’ve always had “white-coat syndrome ,” and have never really been sick at all. I’m frightened that this could be oc! Just need some help and reassurance from someone before my appointment in 2 weeks.

It's best to have them look at it. I had very intermittent pain that I attributed to other things, like cramps, bloating, gas, working out, etc because it wasn't constant. I didn't experience fullness until the very end. My periods were on time every month except the last two before they found it. Never had nausea, and I actually was slowly gaining weight due to the cyst. So it's good you made an appointment. Best case scenario it's nothing. But after avoiding the doctor and looking back on my whole experience I wish I had caught mine sooner rather than later would of saved me a lot of distress.

Sounds so much like what I’m going through. I don’t know how you dealt with the ovary pain for 2 years. I try to forget about it but I’m starting to feel it everyday with a little more intensity which is making me have a ton of anxiety. If you don’t mind me asking, were your cysts benign? How are you feeling now? I don’t see my Gyn until the end of the month and now I’m wishing it was sooner. I’m always thinking the worst unfortunately.
