Ovary cyst symptoms

Hey!

I have a cyst about 10cms on my right ovary. I have had tumor markers and all bloods which are normal and have had ct scan and now waiting to see specialist about an op now.

But my pain has been coming and going is that normal? I was only in loads of pain because cyst or ovary twisted but it untwisted they said.

I still get pain but it's not all the time is this normal?

And getting pain when I pass unrine - was all the time now it isn't and I'm worried that I'm not in pain is a bad sign.

From my Utral sound it is showing as a

-simple cyst

-doesn't seem to have lumps and bumps

-is round

-doesn't seem to have blood supply

Which all above I'm told is good.

But has anyone else's symptoms come and go??

I think I'm just thinking over the top about this all!

    Hi

That is good news that your bloods etc have come back normal. So from a medical standpoint they aren't worried. But that doesnt help us who are living with the cyst. I know that feeling all to well of "am I being stupid. Am I over thinking this" but it is only natural. You have a foreign object in your body and it causes you pain. I was the same, I was in pain 24/7 for nearly 10 months. Then it felt like it eased off. But everytime I felt to myself am I being stupid I'd go and end up in pain and be reminded that I do have an issue that needs fixed.

As far as your ultrasound goes, looks like it's "just" a simple cyst. So that looks good. And don't worry about if you should or shouldn't have pain/symptoms. Just enjoy those days when you feel good.

I hope you get things resolved soon. Take care

      Thank you so much!

Update I had a ct scan and it's showing a solid part but my surgeon thinks that the solid part is my ovary.

It's just all so worrying even though people are saying not to worry I still do.
