Help...I have made comments on others but feel I would rather have comments on my own post. My sinusitis began Oct. 1/13 and I still have it, my nostril or facial sinus are not inflammed, my head behind my eyes and nose are ongoing inflammed which makes it feel as thow my head is going to explode and like I am going to loose my mind, it pulsates every single day and I have been dizzy every single day for over a year, I am drained and thow I have not a bit of energy in me, I was a runner, and now I can barely walk 1 mile, I tried Serrapptese, Bromelin, antibiotics, decongestants, netti post, I have seen the sepcialist all he said was I am not a candidate for surgery and I have acid reflux, which I knew, and he sent me home without any ideas how to help me, he also only checked my facial sinus and not the behind the eyes. sphenoid....so if there is anyone out there with the same crap and have ideas, please.....let me know, sad sad....oh they alos put me on Amytrypiline which helped for a week and no long  stopped taking them because I was moody and looked dead

I am so sorry that the Serrapeptase didnt work for you - I was taking two a day to begin with and now after a few months I take none and the sinus hasnt come back.  I also went to an allergy clinic and I found I am allergic to dust and dog (I have both in my house) so I have started with desensitizing shots once a week. I was also allergic to fungus so they put me on itrazole and that has certainly diminised my cough and maybe that is the reason that my sinus hasnt come back.... The ENT specialist said my sinus was so blocked there was basically no air & I couldnt smell. Get checked for allergies if you can and deal with it from there also try upping the serrapeptase to 2 a day and get the doc to put you on an antifungal - I also modified my diet - no sugar, no gluten and very low carbs, lost heaps of weight and now if I have sugar I feel my sinus pain coming back, which I put down to candida/thrush in my sinus, the antifungal should deal to that. Good luck.

Hi Tara.........I was reading your comment and the docotor called, I asked him for this test and he told me its for Lupus and I dont have the symptoms for that. The last few days were insane, I thought my head was going to fall off, I took sinutab and 600 mg of Naproxan, of coarse I knew and he told me not to take the sinutab, I needed relif, so some of the pressure is gone , I can function today, so crossing fingers and toes the Naproxan helps me a bit. thanks for the info. sad
