overactive bladder and bowel incontinence.

Anyone have a problem with both issues?   I have been doing PTNS which has helped my overactive bladder tremendously.   Once in a while I'll have bowel incontinence.   I thought PTNS would also help this as it stimulates the same muscle.    Someone at the doctors office today said it does nothing for the bowel problem.   I am doing kegal exercises to strengthen this muscle.   Any suggestions?

Glad the PTNS was effective for you. It didn't give me much of a result, which is why the urologist recommended Interstim therapy which I had surgically inserted with great results.

My bowel issue has always been the opposite: lack of movement which has ALMOST been cured with psyllium husk capsules and chia seeds.

    It's aways something, isn't it?

Hope you get a good G.I. who find the right treatment for you.
