Overactive pelvic floor

Posted , 2 users are following.

I am a male, 49 years old. I have been diagnosed with an overactive (hypertonic) pelvic floor. The condition seems to have been caused by nervousness/tension over many years. The effect is a too frequent urge to urinate. I have tried various medications but without any benefits. Any advice much appreciated, thank you.

John have you tried kegel exercises for men? If you can find a physiotherapist who can teach you these exercises that may help you a lot. If you are in UK ask your doctor to refer you.
