Overdoing it a bit.

I haven't been as addicted to this site lately. I guess the more normal I have felt, the less I relied on the rest of you to reassure me that the process I was going through was normal.
I've just been reading some posts this morning, realising that those of us who are several weeks post op are way too impatient. I am recognising myself in almost everything that other people are saying.
I was talking to my sister last night , saying that I felt all misaligned somewhere around my pelvis and my lower back. Her first comment was ' have you asked on your hippie forum? ' the trouble is I know it's caused by a combination of spending a whole day at work, longer dog walks and probably using the carpet cleaner !!! Well I've only myself to blame if I am now having to re-align all my bits and bobs!
So Lesson learned, I am having a restful day today( now that I have fulfilled fog walking duty) I go for my check up on Wednesday .
joy of joy though - I have managed to have a bath - the joy of wallowing in hot bubbles. I so missed that pleasure.
so the moral of this story is 'don't do too much too soon' , 'don't run before you can walk' , 'all things in moderation' , and don't abandon the forum, because there are wise and experienced people on here who can put all your problems into perspective !!
have a good day everyone.

Well said Malloo. Those are good lessons to learn and practice.
I am happy for you that you were able to have a lovely bubble bath! That's a great way to incorporate the rest you are taking and then you will be stronger in realigning yourself.

I saw my X-rays for the first time pre and post op! I am blown away by science. Obviously I had seen other peoples X-rays, and I knew what it would look like, but that was ME I could see the bit that had caused me so much pain, and I could see what they had done. How amazing.
Well. Happy recovery everyone, I am so lucky, because not only do I feel good, but I am not expected back in school for the last week of term ( although I am going in but only for odd days, and then they break up so I am officially on holiday and I am already relaxed, so I am just one lucky lady. Xxxxx
I am going to the races on Saturday and will enjoy a glass of fizz after my 7 week abstination, and hopefully have a few winners too. Xxxx
