I wNt to have a pet scan to see if my pacemaker and leads were infected . They are all good but on report I got a note say they found a incidental adrexal cystic lesion , no mention of size . But im to be referred to a gynacolagist for ultrasound and tests . No menchion size . I am concerned as before I got letter I've been in so much pain in my lower back and siatica shooting into my hip threw my leg to my ankle on my left side . Now it's all across my lower back and im in agony on diazepam , naproxen and cI codramol. My doc says not to worry it's just siatica . But I am worried could it be the cyst ?

I can understand your concerns i have a paratubal cyst in my right adenexal which is small and fluid. I went to an obgyn as well as had a second opinion from an obgyn oncologist because i was scared i was assured that paratubal cysts that are only fluid is not and can not become cancer. My cyst has been being monitored and the last report showed that it is shrinking. Definately follow up with an obgyn and if it makes you worry less have them refer you to an obgyn oncologist. Best of luck

    Hey!

I also have been referred for an ultrasound this upcoming Friday due to some pain where my left ovary is. My doctor is pretty sure I have a cyst, so I am going in to have it confirmed and see what happens.

I have experienced shooting pain on my left ovary and it sometimes goes into my leg causing restless legs. The pain is real and if you are having concerns about it, I would definitely go and get it checked out to see if that could be what's causing your pain.

It's better to be safe than sorry. I also think it would ease your mind to see what's going on with your cyst.

Best of luck! Keep us updated.
